Morpho products offer a complete front-end solution for managing enrollments for access control systems. The enrollment procedure acquires, processes and manages biometric templates to verify a person’s identity when requesting access at a MorphoAccess terminal. The enrollment process also associates badge numbers and person names with the biometric templates. Upon enrollment database records can be pushed out to MorphoAccess terminals or written to contactless MIFARE® smart cards. Depending on the required level of access security, we can provide layered identification solutions by implementing a combination of card, biometric and PINs.
MorphoAccess terminals are the first line of defense in a physical access control system and integrate seamlessly with any access control backend that uses standard Wiegand protocol between a terminal and the system control panel. MorphoAccess terminals authenticate a person’s identity and function as a gatekeeper for company assets and property. Once positive identification has been established and credentials validated, the Morpho terminal sends a badge number and facility code to the control panel for determining whether or not a person is allowed access. Access is either granted or denied based on rules established in the control panel.
